About the Keynote: How to Practice Emotional Resilience

“For the past 20 months our internal and external resources have been stretched and challenged as we have coped with losses due to the global health pandemic, the social pandemic, natural disasters, political unrest, and the ongoing uncertainty of the future. For many of us, our resiliency resources have grown thin and although we are created by a God who instilled in us the fundamental drive to survive, lately thriving has taken a back seat. Intentionality in our awareness and our practices is necessary to restore and strengthen our emotional resilience and move us towards thriving. Join us for a conversation about building and strengthening emotional resilience. We will explore internal and external resources, look at the role of social context, and seek hope from the cultural and faith narratives of which we all belong.”
