Breaking the Silence – Free Webinar on December 12

December 2, 2020

As the end of the current administration & the beginning of a new one comes into view, it’s time for us, Asian American Christians, to reflect on the past and plan for the future. The last 4 years of anti-Asian/anti-immigrant rhetoric, along with the COVID-19 pandemic, has brought a resurgence of anti-Asian violence. While this has awoken an uprising of Asian American activism, the Asian American Christian church has been silent. It’s time to break the silence.

Join us for our panel discussion where key Asian American pastors, scholars, and organizers will envision a way forward for the Asian American Christian church.

Speakers:

Minister Diane Ujiiye (Lead Organizer of API Rise and Black & API Solidarity)
Irene M Cho (CEO of The InBetween)
Rev. Dr. Andrew Lee (Associate Director of the Global Diaspora Institute)

Moderator:

Rev. Dr. Young Lee Hertig (Co-Founder & Executive Director of ISAAC)

When: Saturday, December 12th, 2020 @ 5pm PST / 8pm EST
