The immigrant struggle can, at times, lead Asian Americans to narrow our focus to our own communities. And there’s a place for that. But now, as we find ourselves in some ways better established on these shores, it’s past time for us to look beyond, to listen, to learn, to come alongside. To that end, we’re creating this bilateral space for Asian Americans and African Americans. It’s not just us.
