about us

Asian Pacific North American Christianity . . .

Despite their rapid growth in recent years, Asian Pacific North American Christian communities are challenged to navigate the rapids of mainstream North America and to gain a foothold in the changing landscape of their realities and experiences.

Our Mission

To transform this looming crisis into opportunities for Asian Pacific North American (APNA) Christians to fully participate in the church, academy, and public life in North America and the world.

Our Priorities

  • Equip culturally competent and biblically grounded professional and lay leaders for the APNA churches and communities.

  • Educate the seminary, the university, the church, and the public about APNA Christian history, presence, perspectives, and prospects.

  • Encourage research that brings breadth and depth to our understanding of APNA Christianity.
